Austin's 4th Birthday Event (featuring Thomas the Tank Engine)

Austin's gift: Thomas the Tank Engine drawing book & crayons!
Tissue Paper ♥
Austin's birthday cupcake. Epic!
It definately turned out better than I expected. Especiall for the first use.
I decided to pipe the frosting using the 1M tip.

Thomas!
Nom nom nom!
Cheese face!
"Yummy!!"
On a side note: This is the best idea for a child's birthday party. Especially in the summer. And once the kids are gone, it becomes a fun ride for adults, too!

Silicone Valley

A very good friend of mine bought this silicone GIANT cupcake maker for me last week. I was so excited to use it. . . Ch ch ch check it out!

Loaded with CHOCOLATE CHIPS!

The "top" of the cupcake.

Fresh from the oven!

I loved using the silicone Giant Cupcake maker. It was simple to use and clean up is a breeze. Not to mention . . . no wrapper!! Thanks Becca! xoxo ♥
The top of the cupcake can be frosted anyway you like. A simple smear or pipe it on with your favorite tip. It also comes with an insert to fill the cupcake. For example: Custered, whipped cream, or more frosting.
I will have pictures of the final product in the next post entitled "Austin's 4th Birthday Event" which features Thomas the Tank Engine.

and I guess that's why they call it the blues . . .

So my fiance, Brian had  craving for some cupcakes. A special batch, just for him. I know what you're thinking . . . how many cupcakes can one person eat? When it comes to Brian . . . heh . . . he can put 'em away and have nothing to show for it. So I made him his favorite (which I'm going to start calling The Crowd Pleaser): Devil's Food cupcake layered with big chocolate chips swirled with Cream Cheese frosting.
Enjoy the below photos of my journey through this process!
The Jumbo cupcakes are ready to go!
This one has a surprise in the center . . . Peanut Butter!
These are layered with chocolate chips. Mmmmm ♥
Ow mama! I burned my finger on the wire rack in my oven.
Fresh from the oven.
I wish I could send the power of scent through my PC. These fill my house, from room to room, with the scent of fresh CUPCAKES! ♥
All frosted! Blue is his favorite color.
A special one with blue sugar sprinkles. :-)
I made mine a little girlie by adding some pink sugar sprinkles.
